Ring Doorbell 2
I have 2 Ring Doorbell 2’s installed: 1 at the south front door and 1 at the north garage door. USPS and UPS come to the garage door and Amazon and FedEx come to the Front door. Many times a Amazon deliverer does not even ring the doorbell, but my motion detector Ring Doorbell 2 picks up the event and I get notified. I like being able to see who is there and can even talk to them whether I am at home or not at home. A 2nd free app called Rapid Ring is now available that doesn’t record but opens quicker to see who is at the door. At $3 per month per doorbell for recorded events, the fees are very reasonable for a security system that records events available to be viewed from anywhere by android or iphone or desktops and is triggered by motion, sound, or pressing the doorbell.
