“Sluggers or Strikeouts?”

Often stocks with extremely high dividend levels, low price to earnings levels, and low price to book levels carry a great deal of risk. Like baseball players, some of the great sluggers were also frequently strikeouts. https://sabr.org/research/home-runs-vs-strikeouts SOME of my best returns were stocks held LONG TERM that were screened with the above criteria. Some fell to pennies before they became sluggers. Some struck out.
